The Sabre Team, led by C/MAJ Luis Chavez, is a special group made up of Cadet Officers and standout Cadet NCOs who volunteer their time. Even though the team doesn’t do a lot of events, the ones they do are some of the most important and meaningful for Valley High School and the Viking Battalion. They bring tradition, pride, and respect to everything they’re a part of. Some of the main events they take part in include the Homecoming Coronation and the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
